BUNCH is a place to find and organise real-life rides and runs. We provide the app — we don't run the activities on it. The person who posts a ride is its organiser and is responsible for it; everyone who joins does so at their own risk. Be decent to each other, and use your own judgement about whether an activity is right for you.
Activities are created and run by their organisers (people, clubs and crews). BUNCH hosts the listing and the tools around it; we are not a party to any activity and do not supervise, lead, or vet them.
If you post an activity you are its organiser. You are responsible for how it's run, the route and conditions, any communications with those attending, and for holding any insurance or permissions you need. Any insurance note on a club or profile is the organiser's own declaration, never a BUNCH endorsement.
Riding and running carry inherent risks. You are responsible for your own safety, fitness, equipment, and for obeying the law and the highway code. Assess each activity for yourself before joining. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BUNCH is not liable for injury, loss or damage arising from participation in any activity found or arranged through the app.
Give accurate information, respect others, and don't harass, endanger, or mislead anyone. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms or put people at risk.
You keep ownership of what you add. Photos are for identity and utility (a face, a venue, a logo) — not a social feed. You grant BUNCH a licence to display your content within the app to make the service work.
We may update these terms as the app grows. If we make a material change, we'll ask you to agree again. Continued use means you accept the current terms.
Your profile (name, home area, sport preference, and a photo if you add one); the activities, clubs, crews and places you create or join; messages you send in the app; and — only with your permission — your approximate location to power "near me" and the map. We also collect basic device and usage information to run and improve the service.
To run BUNCH: show activities and who's attending, power search, maps and directions, send the notifications you've asked for, and keep the service safe.
Other riders see what you'd expect — your name and photo, the activities you're on, and messages in chats you're part of. We use trusted providers to run the app (Supabase for hosting, database and storage; Mapbox for maps; Apple/Expo for notifications). We do not sell your data.
Event chats are ephemeral and clear automatically a couple of weeks after the ride. You can close your account — it's greyed immediately and fully removed after a short recovery window. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data at any time.
